From Peter Hider

The first series of Z Cars

Peter says : "Circa 1963 and Mark Lewis' crew.
Next to the make-up lady on the left is Brian Blessed and two along is Ray Butt. The actor leaning in front of Stratford Johns is Dudley Foster and then on his shoulder I think its Ken Twitchen who is next to PC Sweet.
I'm three along from him in the centre next to the sound guy who's name I can't remember but who went to OBs I think.
The writer with the beard is John Hopkins, and next to him in the shadow is Andy Tallack who went to OBs. Next to Frank Windsor in the back row is Mark Lewis, Senior Cameraman. The next beard is another sound guy, Brian ? and then some names I can remember !
Gordon Blockley and just in front of him Eric Monk, seated in front of Eric is Derek Miller Timmings, sound mixer being leered at by the Z Car radio girl.
Paul Davies is just on Eric's left shoulder and Alec Wheal is looking over Paul's head. Sam (Prince of Darkness T.O.M.) Neeter is the moustache in front of Alec and next to Alec is Ken Major and next to him is Hugh (Huge) Sheppard.
Sitting on the floor at the front in the white shirt is Edward(the b'stard) Ballard the floor manager .

Hugh Sheppard adds: "Very much first series. Leonard Maguire (Sergeant Twentyman) is there (right of the clock). Sadly he died very early in the piece, so it's a very valuable picture for the archive"

A couple of curiousities

I was trying out a free copy of Cinema 4D from a magazine cover-disc, and needed something easy-ish to model. The result is a small video - click on the C4D icon to download. Around 900k download
No use to anyone, but the fruits of several hours fiddling, and just a tiny touch nostalgic as I made it and remembered the various bits...

I've also been asked to make a CD-ROM (for money), so I've been teaching myself Swish, an excellent Flash animation creator - so if anyone needs any tacky (or not) banners, or whatever...

This one from Mike Cotton. I don't know what the original programme was called all those years ago, Don't Blink because it doesn't last long... Video 150k
