From Neil Dormand Some fresh faces

"The photo was taken in 1965 at Wood Norton. This was the winning ( If I remember correctly) team from TO 22 of a car pushing competition . We were given a certificate drawn by Roger Bunce.

The objective was to see which team could push a car from the lower gates to the building in the shortest time. The idea came from the fact that a half shaft broke on a car belonging to a member of the course and it had to be pushed to the workshop.

In the picture
Gerry Tivers, Bill Scott , Tony Philpot, Neil Dormand, Ian Tomlin, Geoff Thonger, Pat Kyle, Bill Jenkin.

I can't remember whose car it was we used."

Points of View

I found another behind the scenes piece of VHS at home, this time of a rehearsal for Points of View, filmed I think, by Ian Stubbs. After four long years producing the show, I had to watch this in fast forward (I have to completely avoid The Weakest Link), but I found a couple of stills to show.

Here's a slightly smudgy shot of Mike Minchin and camera

And a gallery still, Len Shorey on the left, me in the middle - I don't know the names of the two ladies. One is operating the stills store, and the other vision mixing - or would have been, if I hadn't taken over!
