In the days when there was a pool of young lads whose job it was to track camera peds in TC6 and 8, where the Marconi MkVII colour cameras made it a tough job for one person, most of the pool actually ended up sitting in the green tea bar. (The chaps in the studios ended up with bad backs.) Whilst we were drinking another cup of tea and swapping tales of derring do in the studios Bill Jenkin suggested that one day someone should publish a book called “Great Mole Stories I Have Known”
