From Bill Jenkin

Bill says - "What on earth you might ask, if you live near 25 and 25a Avenue Crescent, W3, were all these superannuated miscreants doing lounging about in the road at lunchtime on 3rd March 2010?"

Well, they all joined tech ops on 25th January 1965 and were members of TO22. They used to be flatmates sharing the two flats in the house at one time or another between 1965 and 1971. Apart from Bill most left for other parts of the BBC or careers elsewhere within a few years.

Someone (Keith Gibson to be precise) thought it would be a good idea to meet up again for a drink at the pub round the corner and then have lunch at what at one time had been the local café - actually there was quite a 'discussion' about if they had the right place or if it had moved.

Some people may remember the parties they had from time to time.

If you click on the picture (taken by Anne Hewison) for a higher resolution you'll see that the ex-flatmates are (left to right)
Dave Pattison, Rob Hewison, Chris Beer, Keith Gibson,
Bill Jenkin, Neil Dormand, Sim Harris, Ken Osbourn, Geoff Wheeler.

Not present:
Pat Kyle (although he was at the lunch), Roger Casstles (apologies received),
Richard Wall (couldn't trace him), Rod Amy (disqualified on account of not being BBC, can you imagine?) and various non-BBC people who came later on.

And here, from some long time in the past are the young Neil Dormand, Bill Jenkin, Roger Casstles and Pat Kyle.
